David Gobel, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Voraciously curious, a serial entrepreneur, an unrepentant do-gooder and a technology visionary,
Dave has conceived many breakthrough technologies and then gone on to found or co-found private
and venture capital backed companies and non-profits built to deliver those technologies.
Dave was the brains behind Knowledge Adventure,
one of the earliest and most successful educational
multimedia software developers to date; Worlds Inc., the inventor of shared virtual worlds over the
internet and Starbright World, for Starbright Foundation,
which was designed to allow hospital bound
children to "go out and play" in a rich virtual world where they can communicate with friends and family.
Dave's father had died when he was only 55; as Dave approached that age he became curious and
concerned about aging. Methuselah Foundation was formed to encourage and reward research that
would shed light on the process of aging and find ways to extend healthy human life.

He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT, and is an alumnus of the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
David Jacobs, Silverstone Solutions Founder & CEO.
David S. Jacobs started Silverstone Solutions, Inc.
in 2006 as a result of his extensive experience in the
software industry and his more recent experience as a medical patient.
Mr. Jacobs is a seasoned technology veteran with an exemplary track record of building fledging start-ups
into successful global corporations. As a sales, marketing and business development executive, his ability
to identify and capitalize on emerging markets is clearly established by a 25-year career building sales
organizations for start-up companies that evolved into publicly traded corporations such as Microsoft,
Marimba (now acquired by BMC Software) and Macromedia (now acquired by Adobe).
Mr. Jacobs' career was cut short by a genetic kidney disease, forcing him to resign as Vice President of
Business Development for Macromedia, Inc., in the spring of 2001. He subsequently spent 3.5 years on the
deceased donor organ waiting list and 1.5 year on dialysis while his health continued to decline. During
this time, Mr. Jacobs identified a number of areas in the medical field that could be improved by technology solutions.
Having received a successful kidney transplant in December of 2004, Mr. Jacobs immediately began
developing a paired-kidney exchange software application
to make better use of available living donor organs for kidney transplantation.
Robert Cohen, Miromatrix CEO. He was vice president of business and technology
development at St. Jude Medical, and a former CEO of Travanti Pharma Inc. and Advanced
Circulatory Systems, Inc., after holding top positions with the Pfizer Hospital Products
Group and Sulzer Medica.
