Conference proceedings volume
As for the previous six IABG congresses, the proceedings of IABG 10
will be published as a volume of the prestigious Annals of the New York Academy of
Sciences. All presenters -- invited speakers, presenters of
short talks chosen from submitted abstracts, and poster presenters --
should plan to submit a manuscript for publication in the proceedings
volume. Because of the large number of presenters we are having to
impose a strict word limit. Invited speakers for full-length talks
should not exceed 3000 words (including an abstract, but not including
references, of which there should be no more than 20) and should
include at most three figures or tables. Short-talk speakers and
poster presenters should not exceed 1200 words (not including
references, of which there should be no more than 10; do not include an
abstract) and should include at most one figure or table. Manuscripts
should be emailed, as Word files with figures as separate files, to the organiser in advance of the
meeting or provided on removable media (diskette, ZIP disk or CD-ROM)
at the conference.
Instructions for format of manuscripts are contained in the Word
documents linked below.

Submission
Publication in the Annals is a recognition that a conference is
of the highest scientific quality, and it is a much more attractive
place for your best work than a normal conference proceedings volume.
Firstly, publication will be timely -- we are confident that the
proceedings will appear within 6-8 months after the Congress.
Secondly, papers published in the Annals are fully indexed (with
abstracts) in the major bibliographic databases including PubMed.
Thirdly, since early 2002 the full text of Annals articles has
been available online as PDF files.
