For a while, we have seen that anti-aging is rapidly becoming an engineering challenge rather than a mere fantasy. To this point, our Foundation is also focused on helping create a professional society focused on Geroengineering. Enter, the Society of Gero-Engineering and Technology, or SGET.
In this episode of Good Ancestry, Jay Sarkar, who is currently finishing his PhD at Stanford University in Applied Physics, talks about his role in beginning to form SGET. One of the goals of SGET is to develop an industry standard for defining metrics for aging, much like has been done for other engineering societies, like IEEE.
